Letter to the Editor

The following letter is in reference to January 2007's Student Corner article – Marvel of the Mobius Strip by Abram Teplitskiy.

Nice article! People interested in learning more about Mobius strips should read Clifford Pickover's The Mobius Strip. Pickover even tells you where to get your own glass Klein bottle! For those interested in fun aspects of Mobius strips, read Fantasia Mathematica. It contains short stories/science fiction articles entitled "A. Botts and the Moebius Strip," "A Subway Named Moebius," the great "The No-Sided Professor" (one step beyond Moebius strips), as well as a limerick about a "Moebius stripper." The Mobius strip also forms the basis for the classic magic trick, "Afghan Bands."
