TRIZ Future 2007 Conference took place on November 6-8 in Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

The conference was held in the building of Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) organized by the CCI – Innovation Support Centre Hesse and Technology Transfer Network Hesse in cooperation with Technical University of Munich.

The conference has been organized in three parallel sessions. It has been visited by more than 100 people from 40 countries.

It has been presented about 40 papers both in the scientific and industrial sessions, 2 tutorials and 4 Keynotes.

The first day started with two 3-hour tutorials: Dmitry Kucharavy (LGECO, France) and Nikolai Khomenko (European Institute of Energy Research, Germany).

Dmitry Kucharavy (LGECO, France) is talking to Greg Yezerski (Institute of Professional Innovators, USA) before his lecture “TRIZ Instruments for Forecasting: Past, Present and Future”.

Nikolai Khomenko (European Institute of Energy Research, Germany) is pointing to the audience what direction to think. At his lecture “ARIZ and OTSM Contradiction Technology”.

After tutorials the official opening of the conference has occurred. The welcome speech has been held by:

President of the European TRIZ Association Prof. Gaetano Cascini (University of Florence, Italy)

Prof. Dr. Udo Lindemann (Technical University Munich, Germany),

Spokesman of the Foreign Trade Committee of the CCI Frankfurt Dr. Sönke Bästlein,

and Dr. Horst Ried from European TRIZ-Centrum.

After welcome part parallel sessions “Scientific Contribution” and “TRIZ and Company experiences” started.

Robert Adunka (Siemens, Germany) told about successful TRIZ application by Siemens Company.

David Konley (Intel, USA) presented Intel experience in TRIZ application.

It was a real lack of time for the discussion. People couldn’t stop communicating between the sessions.

The second day has been entirely dealt with the papers of the participants.

Meysam Maleki Anvar (Iranian Institute of Innovation&Technological Studies, Iran) began the session “TRIZ Tools and Methodology”.

Valeri Souchkov (ICG Training&Consulting, the Netherlands) told about the art of contradiction identification in problem solving.

The paper about ARIZ application to create new colander presented by Roberto Nani (Scinte s.n.c. Ranica, Italy) opened the session “TRIZ and Innovation”.

Ishida Atsuko (Hitachi Consulting Co., Japan) presented a paper about product improvement to satisfy particular consumer needs.

Chairman Robert Adunka (Siemens, Germany) is musing…

Innovative spiral evolution is hardly to be stopped… Hansjürgen Linde (University of Applied Sciences, WOIS Innovation School, Germany).

Sergei Ikovenko (Gen3Partners, USA) illustrated his presentation about intellectual property with visual examples.

Marina Ksenofontova (Gen3Partners, Russia) discussed the issues of innovative improvement of consumer products.

The audience was always under impression of the presentations.

Conference participants not only presented the serious papers but amused the public on the stage…

Gaetano Cascini introduced Tom Vanneker (University of Twente, the Netherlands) – one of the organizers of the next ETRIA conference that will be held in the Netherlands in November, 2008.

The conference has been finished with the meeting of ETRIA members.

The president of ETRIA Prof. Gaetano Cascini summarized the conference and ETRIA activity for the last year and discussed the next steps of European TRIZ Association with its members.
