In May and June I had the opportunity to listen to several innovation leaders speak about the methods and tools of systematic innovation – Dr. George Land (The Farsight Group), Dr. Phil Samuel (BMGI) and The TRIZ Journal's founding editor, Dr. Ellen Domb (The PQR Group). The events were non-innovation focused, but attendees flocked to the sessions to learn about how to incorporate innovation into their daily lives. I don't know how long it will take for systematic innovation to enter the mainstream, but it is nice to see that when it's shared, crowds are not only receptive, but enthusiastic!
And speaking of sharing systematic innovation information, July's issue features TRIZ-based Design Tools for Resolving Contradictions by Daniel P. Fitzgerald, Jeffrey W. Herrmann and Linda C. Schmidt.
