The  3rd  International  Conference  on  Systematic  Innovation  & Global  TRIZCON 2012 in Korea  (icsiGTRIZ)  will  gather researchers, industrial practitioners, and students to share theoretical and technological advances in Systematic Innovation and TRIZ which include product and service innovation and systematic innovation tools and techniques. The conference will contain plenary speeches/tutorials by world renowned SI/TRIZ researchers/practitioners and technical sessions. Research papers and applied case studies are all welcome. The Venue of the conference will be at Yonsei UniversityOne of the most reputable and scenic universities in South Korea. TRIZ has been most pervasive and best applied in South Korea. Participants will be able to witness how major companies use TRIZ tools to dramatically elevate their global competitiveness. In addition, traditionally, ICSI also have most relevant quality papers presented among SI/TRIZ related conferences.

 

Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their work for review and potential publications in the International Journal of Systematic Innovation. Please see the conference web site for the paper selection process. Optional pre-conference tours paid by participants will be available. The conference official language is English. First 40 paid international registrants with ICSI will be offered a one-day free pre-conference scenic tour of Seoul, Korea. (July 9, 2012)

Topics of interest (tracks) include, but are not limited to:

 

I)  TRIZ related topics

A.      Development of TRIZ-based theories and tools.

B.      TRIZ-based opportunity identification and problem solving applications.

II) Non-TRIZ based systematic Innovation:

C.      Strategic & Business Aspects of Systematic Product/Process/Service Innovation

D.   Technical Aspects of Systematic Product/Process/Service Innovation:

1)    Nature or bio-inspired Tools for Systematic Innovation

2)    Theories & Applications of Systematic Innovative Product/Process/System Designs

3)    Theories/Knowledge/Tools integrated with or related to Systematic Innovation tools such as:

Lateral Thinking, Vertical Thinking, 6 Thinking Hats, Neural Linguistic Programming, Axiomatic Design, VA/VE, 6 Sigma, QFD, Dominant Innovation Tools, Patent Management, etc.

 

 

ABSTRACT/FULL PAPER SUBMISSIONS

 

l  Identify your preferences in the technical area(s) of interest listed above (tracks) in order to assist us in arranging your presentation at an appropriate session.

l  Submit either a 1-page abstract or an extended abstract of 2-3 pages to include contributions and main ideas sufficient for preliminary evaluation. Include the following details in your extended abstract/full paper:  Title, Name of Author(s), Affiliation(s), and full address of the corresponding author, including E-mail address, phone, and fax numbers. 1-page short abstracts are acceptable. Extended abstracts are encouraged for better evaluation. Please download templates from the ICSI web site.

l  The ICSI conference will accept papers/presentations for final submissions in [full paper], [presentation file], or [full paper + presentation files]. Full papers should be in WORD or pdf format and Presentation files in power point format.

 

 

CALL FOR SPECIAL SESSIONS & TUTORIALS

 

Authors are encouraged to organize special sessions or tutorials in the topics relevant to the Conference. Interested session organizers are requested to submit proposals, include the title for the session, title of articles, and a list of participating authors and their affiliations, to the Conference Committee at icsiGTRIZ@systematic-innovation.org.

GCSI : CALL FOR PROJECT EXHIBITIONS

A coincidental event of Global Competition on Systematic Innovation(GCSI) will have its final round of project competition presented in one of the special sessions of the icsiGTRIZ conference.  The goals of this GCSI exhibition/competition are to promote systematic innovation/TRIZ and help the proliferation of innovation results. It is  the only innovation competition in the world which evaluates not only on the results but also the methodical processes that generate the results. You participation of project competition is cordially invited. Multiple medals and certificates will be awarded to a numbers of winners. ICSI participants can witness the project presentations and demonstration free. The registration fee for project entry is extra.
